Redken competition winner 'so excited' - 2 weeks ago

The winner of a Redken competition has revealed her joy at the opportunities that lie ahead.

Speaking to the Australian Herald, Anita Gray - who was announced as the champion of the haircare giant's Redken Future Color contest after showing off her own visions in the Melbourne talent show through her model Brittany Kang - said she was thrilled.

She will attend New York Fashion Week on the all expenses paid trip and will even style for a few of the shows in one of the hottest dates on a fashionista's calendar.

The 19-year-old explained that she was in awe at the fact she would be able to work alongside Philip Barwick, the artistic director for Redken, which runs lines of products such as Rough Paste, Blonde Glam Color Enhancer and All Soft Shampoo.

"It's so exciting. It's my first trip overseas," the teenager - who has never before left Australian shores - confessed.
