Yorkshire Fashion Week gets bigwig backing
A-listers such as Kate Moss and Emma Watson are sure to have been impressed by the first ever Yorkshire Fashion Week.
Or at least so it would seem, considering it was given the backing from their close friend and professional acquaintance Christopher Bailey, who is the creative director of iconic British fashion label Burberry.
The fashion bigwig has reportedly claimed that last week's Yorkshire event was "super" and that he is looking forward to it next year.
According to John Warburton, Yorkshire Fashion Week project director, Mr Bailey's comments have set the wheels in motion for the 2010 event.
He said he has already spoken to universities and colleges that want to take part and plans have started to get underway.
"We only had about a month to organise it this time, now we can build on this year's success to make it even better for next year," he commented.
